Ways to Give

There are many ways you can make a tax-deductible contribution to HWFPC in support of your philanthropic giving objectives.

  • One Time Donation

HWFPC appreciates your one-time financial contribution toward realizing our mission at any time throughout the year.

  • Recurring Gifts

With a recurring gift, you can spread your contribution out over the course of a year or by setting up monthly credit card deductions.

  • Memorial Gifts

Commemorate the life of a loved one by making a donation in their memory, creating a fund, or leaving them a legacy. You can memorialize an individual or donate in honor of a person or a special occasion. A memorial gift to a loved one will be acknowledged with a note sent to the appropriate family members informing them of your gift.

  • Unrestricted Gifts

HWFPC encourages unrestricted gifts to support our efforts to encourage health philanthropy and to make grants to meaningful and transformative programs serving Pike County. Unrestricted gifts may be made directly to the Foundation via check or as outright gifts of cash, securities, real property, or tangible personal property.

  • Tribute Gifts

All gifts for any purpose may be made to HWFPC in honor of a friend or loved one. Tribute giving provides an ideal way to honor those whose kindness and love have touched our lives. Consider a gift of tribute as a very special way to extend birthday, anniversary, and congratulatory greetings.

  • Planned Gifts

Through your will, you can make a gift to HWFPC for a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your overall estate. You can build charitable giving into your life plans, even after death, including some of these ways:

  • Through your will you can made bequests of wealth or property naming the Health and Wellness Foundation of Pike County as the beneficiary.
  • Planned Gifts including Charitable Remainder Trust or Charitable Gift Annuity.
  • Life Insurance, naming the Health and Wellness Foundation of Pike County as the beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy, which is revocable by the donor.

Please note that tax laws are very complex and that tax benefits from a charitable contribution vary with individual circumstances. For this reason, we suggest that you seek the advice of a competent financial or estate advisor.
